Coatlicue Torres-Carter, DDS | Dentist

Dr. Torres was born and raised in San Diego, California. She is a San Diego State University and Creighton University School of Dentistry alumni. Today as a board-certified General Dentist and a member of the Nebraska Dental Society she takes pride in providing friendly, and compassionate care for the entire family.  It was caring and compassion that led Dr. Torres into the study of health and wellness. Dr. Torres’ intense desire to learn and give her patients better care stems from her central focus of uncovering patients’ health desires with them. The enjoyment of helping people motivated Dr. Torres to become a dentist. She believes in treating patients with the same care, respect, and communication that she gives her own family. Dr. Torres knows through this pursuit that teeth can’t be looked at as separate from the body as a whole.   Knowing what health actually looks like is the key to helping patients understand exactly where they are at and is integral to helping them form the vision for their health. Dr. Torres, together with her husband are owners of a growing dental practice. They enjoy dentistry and are proactively taking CE courses that provide the most advanced Dentistry to share with their patients.

As a mother of three children, Dr. Torres is well versed in the intricacies and challenges of raising a family. Therefore, she strives to provide to her patients the same type of support and love she has for her own family. She fully understands the importance of having a strong and open relationship with your dentist in order to accomplish total wellness.
